COVID19 – Coronavirus Information for Guests
Dear Guests
To protect Blue Door guests we have adopted the Deep Cleaning and Sanitisation procedures as outlined by EU Health Experts and Hospitality Specialist to ensure the cottage is as clean and safe as possible.
All high contact surfaces have been cleaned with antibacterial solutions, bedding and towels washed at higher temperatures and antibacterial soaps are provided.
During this time, we ask our guests to please help us by taking note of the points below:
- If at any time before, during or within two weeks of departure any member of your party shows symptoms or tests positive for Coronavirus please notify us immediately.
- We would, under normal circumstances, carry out a mid-stay clean with bedding and towel change for guests staying longer than 7 days. However, during this time we are advised not to enter the cottage during your stay unless absolutely necessary. We therefore ask guests to use the washing machine for cleaning bedding and towels.
- Prior to check-out, to minimise our staffs exposure to high contact materials, please place bedding in the black bags provided in each room and place all towels directly in the washing machine for us to wash.
- To protect staff we are also advised that we allow at least three hours after guests check-out before entering the cottage to clean it. To accommodate this we ask guests to now check-out promptly by 9AM.
